Aqaba Marine Park
The Gulf of Aqaba, located at the northern end of the Red Sea, is the northermost tropical sea ecosystem. The coastline is about 7km in length with roughly 30 magnificent divesites.
Aqaba is an ideal destination for a relaxing diving holiday. With a fine reputation for the condition and growth of coral, which is second to none in the Red Sea, you will find some of the finest diving in the northern Red Sea here.
The Gulf of Aqaba supports a dense population of more than 100 species of corals, 800 species of fish and hundreds of species of crustaceans and molluscs in a fragile environmental equilibrium.
The shallow reef structures provide habitats for multitude of reef fish and organisms.
The northern tip of the gulf has seen repeated visits of whale sharks, dolphins, barracuda, and jacks.
